This policy explains what personal data Clean Insights collects through this website, why, and what you can do about it. It covers this website only, not the Clean Insights product once you have an account.

What we collect

The early access application form

When you apply for a founding place we ask for three things: your work email address, your role, and your country. We also record that you ticked the consent box, and the page and language you applied from.

• Why: to assess whether you fit the founding programme and to reply to you.
• Legal basis: your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), and taking steps at your request before entering a contract (Article 6(1)(b)).
• How long: up to 24 months after your last contact with us, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.

Server logs

Our hosting provider records standard technical data for every request: IP address, timestamp, the page requested, and your browser's user agent. This is needed to serve the site and to detect abuse.

• Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a working, secure website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• How long: TODO: confirm the retention period with the hosting provider

Analytics and cookies

This website currently loads no analytics and sets no tracking cookies. If we add privacy-friendly analytics later, we will ask for your consent first and you will be able to decline without losing any functionality. The only browser storage we use is a record of that consent choice, kept on your own device.

Who else sees your data

We use a small number of processors. Each works under a data processing agreement.

Form handling and email

We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for advertising.

Transfers outside the EEA

TODO: complete once the hosting region and form provider are fixed. If any processor is outside the EEA, name the safeguard used, normally the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

Under the GDPR and the UK GDPR you can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or transfer it elsewhere. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time; that does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it.

To exercise any of these, email info@clean-insights.com. We reply within one month.

If you are not satisfied you can complain to your national supervisory authority. In the Netherlands that is the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens; in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we will update the date below and, where the change affects you, tell you directly.
